My Mission

“My mission in dentistry is to build long-lasting relationships by providing exceptional dental care to my patients with evidence-based treatment; to educate and inform the patients the right way of maintaining excellent oral health.”

Education & Continuing Education

Dr. Avanti Sanghavi is a practicing general dentist with over 20 years of experience and a former owner of a family practice in Mount Prospect, IL for many years.  She and her family have recently moved to Frisco, Texas from Chicago and are excited to be a part of the community.

She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from India. After moving to the US, she pursued residency training in the Advanced Education of General Dentistry (AEGD) program at Boston University, where she had the fortunate opportunity to learn and hone her skills at a post graduate level.  She briefly worked as an assistant dental office manager to learn more about the business side of dentistry before getting her DDS degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Since graduating, she has thoroughly dedicated herself to advancing her skills through continuing education. To date, she has completed an intense Implant Continuum Program from Trinon Collegium Practicum Foundation as well as Hiossen Implants. She has also completed a 2- year comprehensive Orthodontic program from Progressive Orthodontic Seminars and several other courses focused on dental implants, Invisalign and Botox and dermal filler treatment.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys traveling and trying different cuisines and looks forward to exploring new places with her family.

Dr. Ahmed is nitrous oxide certified. Prior to working at Rock Hill Dental Care, she worked in a pediatric office for 4 years providing dental care to both adults and children.

Dr. Ahmed is an active member of the American Dental Association.

Life & Hobbies

When she isn’t at the office, Dr. Ahmed loves to spend time with her family, paint, and travel.
